Welcome to Review of Optometry's Online Continuing Education.

Our online CE lessons are offered to optometrists to assist them in meeting the continuing education requirements of relicensure. To participate in our online CE programs, simply read the lesson you are interested in and submit your answers to the questions. You will receive instantaneous grading of your exam. Upon successful completion of an exam (a score of 70% or higher), an official Continuing Education Certificate will be mailed to you within four weeks. You are permitted one attempt to successfully complete each program.

As a participant of Review of Optometry's online CE programs, you will be able to access a history of the exams you participate in via this medium. Simply click on Participant Exam History on the menu bar to view your record.

Review of Optometry uses social security number as the identifying number of our participants. To participate in our programs, you must provide us with your social security number. This information is transmitted via secure channels and is used as an internal tracking number only. If you do not hold a United States issued social security number, please contact on CE Customer Service division for instructions on how to complete the online exams. The Optometric Study Center

The Optometric Study Center is joint-sponsored by the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. The OSC programs are featured in 11 issues a year. For each program you pass, you earn two hours of transcript-quality credit from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and double credit toward the AOA Optometric Recognition Award-Category 1. There is a $30 fee to participate in these programs.

Boards of Optometry in 35 states have approved the Optometric Study Center for credit toward license renewal. Optometrists licesed in states which have not approved the Optometric Study Center may take the course for personal enrichment; all fees and instructions apply

Review of Optometry Continuing Education Programs

Review of Optometry's CE programs are joint sponsored by the University of Alabama School of Optometry and are supported through unrestricted educational grants from industry so there is no fee to participate in them.

These programs are approved by COPE for CE credit.  We recommend that you contact your state licensing board to see if this approval meets your CE requirements for license renewal.

  • Participant Exam History - access your online exam history

System Requirements

While the system was designed to allow almost everyone access, it is best accessed using a 166 mHz or higher computer with either Netscape 3.0 or greater or Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater. Your browser must be set to accept cookies.
